Construction is proposed to begin in summer of 2012. The project consists of pavement rehabilitation. The road surface would be milled and repaved from the Bennet Street intersection and continue approximately 1.5 miles to the point that curbs cease. From that location, the road surface would receive an overlay to existing pavement and continue to McCormick Creek Road. A preliminary examination of culverts in the project has been done. All culverts between the Shoemaker Loop/Zimovia Hwy. intersection, milepost 6.5 and Pat’s Creek are in good condition and would not need replacement.
