From December of this year, passports will be sent by registered mail. In January, 2013 driving licences will also be sent through the post. People will be able to collect passports and driving licences from their nearest post office or postal service point upon presentation of a photo identity card.The police say the change will ease the workload in their licensing department and, above all, improve customer service.
