In the past two months, we have had two specially developed Ford Mustangs developed for charity auctions. The first was the 2013 Roush Stage 3 Mustang Special Edition and the second was a Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 by Melvin Betancourt. Now, it’s time to add a third model to this very special line of one-off vehicles created specially for charity. This time, it’s a one-off model based on a 2013 Mustang Boss 302 Laguna Seca that will raise money for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
This one-off Mustang is basically a Laguna Seca model painted in a very cool combination of Sterling Gray Metallic with Gloss Black on the striping, rear pedestal spoiler, and mirror caps. Special badging will remind everyone around it that this is indeed a special edition. The interior has also received changes in the form of a Charcoal Cloth with custom embroidered Recaro Seating and Sterling Gray X-brace. The car sits on a new set of 19″ wheels painted in aluminum. The Ford Mustang Boss 302 Laguna Seca Alley Edition will be auctioned off in August 2012 at the annual Woodward Dream Cruise. In order to get a chance continue
Roush Performance’s expanding 2013 Mustang line-up now has a new member to the family: the 2013 Ford Mustang V6 RS. Based on the 3.7-liter V6 Ford Mustang, the V6 RS has been treated to an array of styling and handling modifications that’s being called as the “Roush Six” package. “The RS opens a new niche for Roush Performance, offering great fuel economy, a good level of power, at an economical price, while still embodying Roush’s spirit of performance,” said Gary Jurick, GM of Roush Performance. On the outside, Roush Performance added a bevy of aerodynamic enhancements, including a new set of grilles, a front chin splitter, side rocker splitter, and a rear decklid spoiler. The program also features new “R” fender badges and an “R” Roush faux gas cap. As added options, you can also get a hood scoop, rear quarter window louvers, RS exterior side, and hood graphics.
Finally, the package also comes with a new set of 19″ premium painted aluminum wheels, tires with Brembo brakes, and Roush lowering springs with progressive rate jounce bumper, effectively lowering the car’s ride height and reducing its center of gravity. Interior styling was also part of the program and the Roush V6 RS Mustang was no different. There are embroidered floor mats, billet performance pedals and a Roush center console badge/button that are part of the enhancements. If that’s not enough, you can also opt to include GT charcoal leather seating or Roush sport leather seating, a white or black shifter ball, a suede-wrapped performance steering wheel, and door sill plates with ambient lighting. No performance modifications are continue

The Opec oil crisis of the early 1970s, Jeffrey Kaffee, a former commercial pilot, remembers, led to huge frustration at long petrol queues. Lesson learnt, years later Kaffee became a Prius owner. Then, last week, he moved on to General Motors’ new plug-in electric hybrid, the Chevrolet Volt. Kaffee was on holiday in Florida when the car came in to his local dealership, in Denville, New Jersey. The sellers flew him back for the day to take the silver-coloured five-door saloon for a spin. “We drove it a lot,” he said. “The car was on all day. It was after 2 o’clock when I was finished for the day and I looked down and it had half a battery to go. It was doing fine.” Impressed by the test run, Kaffee, who is now an estate agent, decided to make the car his main commuting vehicle. The Volt is the first extended-range electric vehicle to be made for the mass market by one of the big US carmakers, and hits the streets at the same time as the continue
