States Split On Immigrant Licenses & Suspended License



PALM COAST — A 76-year-old woman whose car careened into a Publix supermarket in April and injured 10 people, some severely, said in court Thursday she was unaware that her driver’s license had been suspended. County Judge Sharon Attack found Thelma Wagenhoffer guilty of careless driving and fined her $500 and suspended her license for three months, the maximum allowed under the law. Wagenhoffer license had already been suspended indefinitely by the state Department of Motor Vehicles.
