EVESHAM — Five people were injured, three of them critically, after a multi-car crash Saturday on Route 73, according to emergency officials. The accident occurred about 5 p.m., just before the highway’s intersection with Route 70. A car traveling northbound crossed the median just north of Center Boulevard and collided head-on with a Jeep going southbound, police said. The driver of the Jeep, an unidentified pregnant woman, was taken by helicopter to Cooper University Hospital in Camden. Both the driver and passenger of the car, an unidentified man and woman, were also flown to Cooper in separate helicopters. They are all in critical condition, according to police. Two other people riding in the Jeep were injured. A 7-year-old child and an elderly woman were taken by ambulance to Ocean Medical Center in Brick. Two teens and two adults are in the hospital after a car accident involving three vehicles in Williamstown, N.J. Police says a 17-year-old boy was driving a 1995 BMW eastbound on New Brooklyn Road and approaching the intersection with Jones Road. A 2001 Honda Accord driven by a 35-year-old man was traveling west on the same road and approaching the same intersection, according to investigators. Finally, police say a 52-year-old man, driving a 2007 Toyota Highlander, stopped at a stop sign on Jones Road at the intersection with New Brooklyn Road. As the BMW and Honda approached the intersection, police say the BMW attempted a left turn onto Jones Road, entering the right of way of the Honda Accord. A three-car accident that halted traffic Monday on Route 15 northbound sent five people to the hospital, all with non-life threatening injuries. The accident happened around 1:30 p.m. between exits 52 and 53 in Stratford. All occupants of the vehicles involved in the crash were able to exit their cars before fire and emergency officials arrived, according to Fire Marshal Brian Lampart.
